Gerald W. Huston began his legal career at Lord, Bissell & Brook, a top-ten Chicago law firm, where he began developing his extensive experience in nursing home and medical negligence, insurance coverage disputes, catastrophic insurance defense, and general tort litigation. In the nursing home realm, Jerry advises and defends long-term care facilities in tort litigation and regulatory action across the country and serves as national nursing home counsel for a large insurer of long-term care facilities. Jerry also has extensive experience representing insurers in coverage disputes, including declaratory judgment actions. Jerry's broad background in tort litigation includes both state and federal matters ranging from catastrophic injury cases, property damage, and contract disputes to more complicated construction litigation, consumer fraud, and class action litigation.

Christopher J. May has extensive litigation experience in a broad variety of insurance defense and coverage actions. Christopher has represented insurance companies in insurance coverage and bad faith litigation involving a wide variety of matters arising under numerous types of policies, including commercial general liability policies, directors' and officers' liability policies, property and casualty policies, professional errors and omissions policies, special manuscripted policies, umbrella and excess policies. Christopher also has extensive experience in defending healthcare providers, including hospitals, nursing homes, and individual physicians, in medical malpractice actions, and boasts an impressive record of jury trial victories in multiple states. Christopher also counsels hospitals and nursing homes on statutory compliance, risk management, and various other legal issues. A veteran of Lord, Bissell & Brook, Christopher’s diverse practice also includes experience in a variety of general tort litigation matters, including construction litigation, premises liability, catastrophic injury and property damage cases.

Omar J. Fayez's practice focuses on all aspects of health care litigation defense, including the defense of long term care/nursing homes, hospitals, medical clinics, and individual physicians, nurses and related health care professionals. Fayez is licensed in both state and federal court in Illinois and has represented medical professionals before the Illinois Department of Professional and Financial Regulation and throughout the United States. A seasoned litigator, Fayez has vigorously defended and tried cases against the top plaintiff firms in Illinois and the U.S., always working in the best interest of his clients by having cases dismissed or claims pared down, reducing case value and exposure to his clients. In addition to his vast experience in health care litigation, Fayez also brings significant experience to the firm in the areas of commercial litigation, construction litigation, contract disputes, and employment issues.

Anthony has more than 20 years of litigation and appellate experience, including both direct litigation and proactively directing retained counsel in several jurisdictions while serving as in-house counsel for an insurance company. With this perspective, Anthony understands the concerns of his clients and strives to secure cost effective results. In addition to health care litigation, representative matters include negligence defense, independent employment investigations, and commercial litigation. He is focusing his practice on defending clients in health care litigation.

Colin concentrates his practice in the defense of skilled and long-term care facilities and medical professionals. His practice also emphasizes complex civil litigation, primarily in the areas of insurance defense, insurance coverage, and insurance bad faith. Colin is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He received his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law where he worked with the pro bono Death Penalty Clinic. Colin graduated cum laude from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Brian concentrates his practice on defending long-term care facilities, hospitals, and medical professionals. He began his legal career representing plaintiffs in a variety of cases including medical malpractice, Illinois Nursing Home Care Act, product liability, premises liability, and automobile collisions. Brian has experience in all phases of civil litigation, including mediation, arbitration and trials, and has represented clients in state, federal, and commercial courts. Brian is admitted to practice in Illinois and received his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law. While at DePaul, Brian received the CALI award for obtaining the highest grade in Civil Litigation Strategy. Prior to law school, Brian received a B.A. in Legal Studies and History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
